A house for rent

That was what I have been looking for!
Lately, I was looking for a studio or a loft, but something was very wrong and not suitable, then I realized those problems were the walls. This is not a dream house, this is a solution, or a mouthful breathe. Could be paradise to, if there are no mosquito.

Do you know the address for the house? I can surely stop for a coffee and a chit chat. Or a fresh coconut cocktail and long conversation.

Change your traditions - Concept Design

iPhone, iPad, cameras, music players, external hard drives, small lamps and many things yet to come requires usb connection to be charged. And if you are using a laptop, you rather want to stay at the safe side of wireless communication. That's why we have to change our perception to AC outlets!

This is one of those next step innovations that we are going to start using without even realizing. But we surely do need these type of outlets immediately. And also, may be by changing our outlets, we don't need to use adaptors for different continents - I don't want to carry many adaptors for different countries! -

Floating spaces

floating-storage-the-ledge-by-urbancase-4-600x457 Floating-Storage-The-Ledge-by-Urbancase-2

As a user this design is surely gives you more space, but it could be really good for turn-tables and laptops. In design, I believe in change, when you open this lid you should change the mood or the place. so using it for a totally different thing would be really cool. From wooden to mechanic, there should be a change.

A house of its own

1a4332100195f90090b7e350b76479df696b012e_m

I always wanted to design my own house, but after this working experience in France, I believe I am going to build it mostly by myself! I want to work on very small details. May be do some sandpaper, put my selves around, lots of lights many where. I dinner table for large group of friends. May be a winery on the corner.

Illimunate your life!

Designer Natasha Romanova's illuminated clothes pin. It is good to have some these indicators, in your house in case of emergency. You can always put those thing to important places or notes to remind you, for example when you are going to bed.

I could have good use for the movie nights. You can clip your remote control, cell phones or some other things. Having a little light around won't hurt you!

Modern touch to your living room

I get really excited when I post some new designs from Turkish designers, and nowadays, I really come across a big time! Since there is a huge history, and a huge nation behind it, I believe Turkey will foster great designs and designers.

These works are belong to Onur Çobanlı. They are minimalistic, not surely comfortable, but comfort is not everything, in some places we can afford visual quality instead of comfort!

Onur Çobanlı is a young furniture designer, studying for his PhD in Politecnico di Milano, Italy.

Let's congratulate his works, and wish a good luck in his career.

Fabian Nehne and Martin Meier, German and Swiss product designers revealed their latest design translation of the additive color mixing, an adequate luminance. If it can adjust the colors, this lamp can be perfect. You can start parties, by just illuminating your living room!

And it can also teach colors too! What about CMYK?

For a better scheduled week

Since I am really amnesiac, of course I am not sure where I saw this beautiful designed week calender. But still it is worth mentioning. Colors are really good, but the better part is you can see your whole week in your wall. If you have plenty of space in your office or home, you can try making your own. Chalk boards are not yesterday, on the other hand they are coming back. Get ready for chalk flour.

Do you have a corner?

star-wars-wall-mural

And a good taste? And a thing for Star Wars?

That will be perfect for you. This mural is really going to fit your living room. It is around 650$ though. It will surely worth it but don’t waste it, plan first, action later.

Concrete castle as a flower

safehouse6

It is a safe house at Warsaw, Poland. A giant cube with sliding walls. If it seems to be a hard rock, it is designed as a flower blossoms. Every morning the castle opens up and closes at the dusk. It is surely a great house, but it will require great amount of energy, I know you probably have but don’t waste it, If you have solar panels at the top, then you can do whatever you want.

This house has a design award in 2009, and there is no doubt. Even though I say that will be energy consuming, it is a design of my childhood, dynamic objects, transforming continuously.

If you are wondering about the materials they use;

The construction is a concrete monolith. Only the movable elements are made in light steel structure. Both concrete and steel walls are insulated with rock wool, and covered with 15 mm slabs of waterproof alder plywood, that was stained to darker tone, in order to make the house look alike the other buildings in the surroundings. The fence, that unites with the movable walls, is the same 2.2 m high, and is covered with an identical dark plywood. The interior, to stay in contrast, is kept in white. The floors are made of concrete and whitewashed oak. The walls and ceilings are finished with concrete and whitewashed cement plates.

Could it be mine?

1269048559902429

I used to love the idea of glass roof, and I designed for myself for some times. I must confess, this is really a masterpiece.

Heaven must be like this, I want this bedroom.

I have lots of weekend beds…

This is the bible that I worship

Loft Bible mini has launched. This is one of my Platonic loves. I don't know why haven't I obtained this, may be it is better to not see them everyday.

Can I someday have one of those?
I should but could I?

You can buy it to me if you want.
Here it is @Amazon
