Realism on Canvas - Hilo Chen - Summer

Higher resolution cameras, what for? This is paintings from Hilo Chen, and they looks pretty realistic - honestly more realistic. Some people judge paintings by the realisim, they must admire those works. There are more reasons to admire these works but I will stand on the artistic side!

Oh, whatever, look at those paintings they are smokin' hot! Wowza...

You can find a gallery of Hilo Chen, a New York based artist here

These paintings are really keeps you in summer. In a way, these paintings reminded me Coca Cola paintings, it must be the colors.

Good/Bad

And I am on the way! Heaven never sounded like a fun place to live for eternity anyways.

Z - Generation

Are you felling the same way? I saw lots of families, they are asking the teachers why their son/daughter got a lower grade. And guess what, after these talks their grade improves! Not a shocking news. It happens even in academy!

A popular culture review!

Honestly, I can admit that I like Harry Potter series. Even though, I watch a lot of movies and as a fan of those kind of movies, I never tried to watch Twilight, something about the series always kept me out. I was not an early follower of Harry Potter itself, but I couldn't be a follower of Twilight.

Everything is getting superficial, and I don't like it.

Just

Speechless.

Modern touch to your living room

I get really excited when I post some new designs from Turkish designers, and nowadays, I really come across a big time! Since there is a huge history, and a huge nation behind it, I believe Turkey will foster great designs and designers.

These works are belong to Onur Çobanlı. They are minimalistic, not surely comfortable, but comfort is not everything, in some places we can afford visual quality instead of comfort!

Onur Çobanlı is a young furniture designer, studying for his PhD in Politecnico di Milano, Italy.

Let's congratulate his works, and wish a good luck in his career.

Love & Theft! - Award winning short animation

This is a fluid animation, drawing flows away with the music. It is really good integrated with the music. Really nice to watch! The video was inspired from Bob Dylan album of the same name. Duration is around 6 min. You won't be disappointed, and you will see many familiar faces.

"And I'm still carrying the gift you gave,
It's a part of me now, it's been cherished and saved,
It'll be with me unto the grave
And then unto eternity."
(Bob Dylan)
