As a Sci-fi fan, things they use in the movies become really familiar, even I sometimes cannot think they don't exist. After these normalization of futuristic devices, Layar really made me shocked! ( may be not as SixthSense from MIT laboratories ) It looks really good, and creates a new space for everybody. For now, the screens are really clean, there are few people just put their layer to Layar database, but in a short notice there will be hundreds of ads hanging around, like Time Square.
There are two videos from the producers, but you can immediately understand the idea. I am waiting to test this product!
It will be revolutionary ( may be not this product, but the living idea ) !!!
It is developed for iPhone and Android for now, but soon for Nokia as well.
